idle problems

hey guys. got a question for you. My car will not idle right when the car gets warmed up. If its in park, it will idle perfect. When I come to a stop in gear, it will stall unless I keep my foot on the gas. I have an Ed Wright tune. Car runs great everywhere else. You can see in my sig what my main mods are. What can I check on a scan tool to see what is causing my problem? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Ed Wright PCMs are locked, so you will have to send it back to him to get the idle set up a bit.

FWIW, with a 224/236 114lsa cam in a 383 with a 2,800 stall, I've got my in gear, hot, idle set at 875 rpm. Creeps a bit much, but it doesn't stall. I have my idle set up that high in order to generate vacuum.

You may want to consider eventually going with LT1 editor or Tuner Cat. It saves a lot of time, being able to make minor adjustments in just 15 minutes, instead of several days.

Hope this helps

I have not tried drilling the hole out yet. How far should I go? I also have a scanner. I called Ed Wright and he told me I might have to adjust the throttle blades open. When I do the car idles too high when its cold. What values on my scanner can I look for to make sure everything working right?
