How to get trouble codes from a '95
How to get trouble codes from a '95
On OBD1 stuff, you could always jumper pins A and B to get the codes, however, the 1995 OBD1 has an OBD2 16 pin connector and the A and B pins don't exist. What do I have to jumper to get the codes out of my computer?

You can't flash the codes on the '95. The '93 models were the last you could flash. You will need an OBDI code reader or scan tool with the proper cable, or there is a way to use an OBDI code reader or scan tool by using jumpers, as shown on shoebox's site. Or, if you have a laptop and proper software and cable, you can use that.

Got it taken care of. I already do all my own tuning and had a cable. My home-built scanner won't read codes. I simply downloaded FreeScan and found out that the computer is issuing code 24, output speed low. I think this is because my VSS is not hooked up.

You can get the cables from www.moates.net. Do a google search for freescan and you can download it free off the internet.
