help with a4 downshift

Where should i put my downshift tables at. I'm using tuner cat. The car has a built tranny, all the bolt ons, cam, stall, and 3.42's. Not sure how I should set them or if there is a rule of thumb.

If you want some decent downshift performance, then set them a couple mph lower than the upshift. Like 2mph difference for 1-2 shift and 4 mph for 3-4.

Exactly what you want will depend on your taste, driving style, rear ratio, etc.

So let me see if I understand this right. If I have the upshift for 1-2 set at 45mph then i should set the downshift for 2-1 at 43? So that would mean if I am in 2nd and want it to downshift to 1st I let the mph drop below 43mph and when I mat it it will drop to first right?

Next question is what about part throttle stuff.
