had chip reprogrammed for n20.....now car smokes blue smoke....
Just wondering....Had my chip man reprogram my chip to make it give more fuel so I dont lean out when I spray. I also got my AFPR set to about 48 psi regulated. Now, when I get on it, it will BLOW blue/black smoke from the pipes at high rpm's and when I shift at WOT....dont think it's rings cause it doesnt smoke at low rpms or if your putting around....just at WOT. Am I maybe running too rich??? What should I do to fix this??? Didnt do it until I had the prom reburned for n20.....HELP!!???
I"m confused..... is your NX kit a wet kit? If so, why would you need to program your chip? The fuel jet supplies the required extra fuel. So you optimize the chip for NA operation, and "tune" for nitrous with the fuel jet.
Also, did you tell your "chip man" that you were running something more than stock fuel pressure? He needs that info to set the injector constants. If he didn't know the fuel pressure was higher than stock, its going to run rich at WOT.
Maybe I'm missing something here, and I apologize if I misunderstood your question, but it doesn't seem clear.

I read off to him (John Millican@LT1intake.com) what my BLM's and 02 sensor was reading. Cant remember now. But he set the chip up to run richer based on my BLM's. I was questioning him on if he could take maybe 2 degrees timing out on WOT, so I wouldnt have detonation under the n20. He set my chip for 50 psi unregulated. My friend was riding behind me in his car and told me that he could smell that my exhaust was rich. Said he could smell fuel, too.... Help!!!
