Good General GM Software

Guy at work wants some software to use to scan his GM vehicles (OBD II I suppose) and I've been out of the scene too long. What would you guys recommend for a cable/software scanner package that he could use on his laptop that will give a decent amt of data for any GM OBD II car?

Thanks

Thanks. Is Autotap still used by many? Does it work with all OBDII cars or just specific models? 3-4 years ago a lot on here were using it...

Re: Good General GM Software

That's what I meant to ask...GM OBDII. Yeah, I'm running Ease on my 96 Trans Am. The only problem I have is that it seems to give a small number of parameters...nothing about A/C or fan request, etc...just basic stuff. Unless you buy the $250 optional package.

Thanks for the info...Ion I'll be emailing you about a computer for my car...
