Is there software out there that i can run on a laptop while im driving to read different temps and rations of the engine?

Cheapest way is to get Datamaster:

Then click on software downloads, you alsno need a cable which you can get from WOT Electronics: www.wotelectronics.com or from AKM Cables: www.akmcables.com

You will need a laptop with a 9pin serial port.
