dtc 83

i am getting a dtc 83 (tcc control feedback) after a tranny rebuild.

ne1 know what this means, or how to fix it. i have the service manual, but it only mentions the code for manuals, not autos.

well the tcc would be the lockup solenoid (overdrive)

So I would check the continuity of the lockup sol.
It takes only 2 wires. A 12v wire from a fuse and the other wire comes from the PCM.

I would guess that the wires inside the tranny are maybe pinched or not hooked up to the solenoid during rebuild. you can pull the pan and take a look.

Before doing anything......is your overdrive working?

Is your car 1995 if so check TCC pwm solenid it is an extra

solenoid for the tcc which sets beside 3-2 solenoid .

May be you have 1994 tranny (no tcc pwm).

Or you have 1995 program in 1994 car.
