Maybe this thread will make more sense than my last one. I want to keep my Integrators from spiking during idle PE mode but I dont want to sacrafice learning in all other conditions. So would locking integrators basically lock every cell in 128/128? I THOUGHT BLMs are just the average of the integrators in which case i would inhibit learning in all cells.

 

Are you obd-1 or 2? Because 128 is 14.7:1 air:fuel ratio for obd1 and 0 is for obd2. Are you locking short term of long term? I think if you have them locked and your o2's want lean or richen the mix will throw a code. But I could be wrong.

And no it does not put you in open loop. Closed loop has three factors, time, temp and your o2's heated up. So if you lock your blms you still will be in closed loop after all three factors have happen.

 

I guess i shouldnt have said open loop... i realize the computer will still go into closed loop but every cell would be locked at 128/128 so its basically not learning. I am just not sure if that is actually what happens.

Looks like the only way im gonna find my answer is to test my theory.
