Re: coolant level sensor

you obviously have something in your cooling system that is contaminating the sensors. Do a full flush until everything comes out crystal clear and then replace it. Disabling the light for that is like putting a band aid on a gunshot wound, you're still going to have the problem.

Re: coolant level sensor

its a new engine new radiator , plus my wife's brand new 1500 , a buddies 1500 and another friends camaro all do the same thing . every once in a while it goes off. i called gm and they said it happens. isnt that a crock. plus i flushed the new engine out then flushed it again when the before the new radiator went in . also flushed the new radiator out before install. i know how finicky lt1s are about cooling. had the system vacced down before filling.i'll check though just for certain , thanks

Re: coolant level sensor

Some of my LS1 <2K friends just disconnected the plug to the sensor - light stays off - just check the fluid once in a while.

Re: coolant level sensor

It's pretty common. Disconnect the thing.
