converting from MAF to speed density

Ok, Heres what I have going on. A buddy of mine is installing a LT1 out of a 95 IMpala SS into a 1970 Firebird. He isnt doin any motor mods and has bought a March pulley set-up for it. He asked if I could convert his computer from MAF to speed Density. He wants to clean the engine compartment up so he doesnt have any duct work or things of that nature. Does anyone here know what is involved or what settings I need to change in the computer for him? Or what is involved in doing it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Get tunercat and reprogram it. It's just one click in the program to turn speed density on.

I Have tunercat already. So do I go into the Switch table and check the Speed density box and disable the maf box? I dont want to set a code or have the S.E.S light to go on. So thats why I want to know how to change the computer.

yes take the X out of the box. if the X is there it means it is enable. meaning the maf is used.

Re: converting from MAF to speed density

Is it as simple as one click on an OBDII car with LT1 Edit? I have been looking for this feature in LT1 Edit and have not found it yet.

Nevermind, I found it right on the main screen in front of my face. Yes, I'm new to this stuff.
