I know that the downloading format changed sometime recently and I haven't tried downloading them and openning them. Are you using $EE definition file and you have an OBDI computer? Just checking the basics.

ok i was compareing my factory tune and the madz28 tune and there seems to be a 2-3 degee loss in the madz tune from my factory tune. the degrees out i think is strange seening how this is a bigger cam and would need more timing right. am i wrong?????? i was thinking about putting back it the timing were it was removed and see if that help with the bottom end power. is there anyway that i can post the two tunes for people to look at and compare?

You don't necessarily want to put the timing back in. The bigger the cam is, the less timing it can handle in the low rpm/high MAP areas. If you want to send the tune to me, I can look at it. I have the factory tune already. Remember, with the cc306, you're going to lose some lower end. It's inevidable with a cam that size.

To go along with this, with the bigger cam timing will be retarded in lower RPM/mid MAP areas to help smooth cam surge. I've finally defeated the surge on my brother's car this weekend using this approach.

Well im going to finally put this thing in my car in about 3 weeks so we will see how tuning goes. Sean what size stall are you running with this cam? i hear anything below a 3000 will make this cam be a dog.
