Best way to run a datalog scan?

I have the Scan 9495 SW and cables. What is the best way to run a scan?

Idle and drive normal
Idle and go WOT

How long should the scan run?

Thanks

Depends on what problem(s) you are trying to solve. For general purposes, run a complete log - start it cold, let it warm up and enter closed loop (should take about 3-1/2 minutes), drive it normally under a wide variety of conditions, including a couple WOT pulls (in a single gear, no need to run it through the gears), stop and let it idle for 30 seconds. I've received logs for review running anywhere from a minute to 30 minutes. You should be able to cover most everything in a 10 minute period.

Fred,

Excellent. Thank you.

Rotten egg smell from CAT (Running rich?)

Will run the datalog tomorrow during my drive into work.
