Autotap
What year is your car? The "EFILive" version of AutoTap, for the LS1's, supports "bidirectional controls", that allows you to alter (as long as the system is connected to the PCM), the following parameters:
Absolute spark advance (-10 to 40)
Delta spark advance (-40 to 40)
AFR (9 to 16)
Crank position sensor relearn.
Idle air control
Cylinder balance test
MIL on/off
Skip shift lamp on/off
CC inhibit on/off
A/C clutch on/off
Low speed fan on/off
High speed fan on/off
A.I.R solenoid on/off
A.I.R pump on/off
Fuel pump on/off
Purge solenoid on/off
Vent solenoid on/off
Closed loop on/off
Fuel learn on/off
Hold gear (1, 2, 3 or 4)
TCC solenoid on/off
TCC PWM on/off
3-2 solenoid on/off
PCS current (0 to 1.1 Amps)
Reverse lockout on/off
Skip shift solenoid on/off
While not direct "programming", it does allow you to evaluate the affect of altering things like timing and target A/F ratio.
