Are all 95's obd1?
Are all 95's obd1?
I heard they were but with obdII connectors is that correct? I am looking at a 95 monday and im thinkin its a perfect yr if it is obd1 since that was the yr with the upgraded optispark also. This is a 1 owner car with only 29k miles! The only thing I dont like is the t-tops I really wanted a hard top but I can live with it. It is also a 6-speed so if I like it and everything checks out good monday I will be a new 4th gen owner
. This will be my second f-body I also have a 90 camaro.

I have heard rumours that there are a few late-'95 OBDII cars out there - but it's probably nothing more than rumour. If you want to be certain, you could unhook one of the plug wires and run the car for a bit. An OBDII car will get a flashing SES light due to the missfire, whereas OBDI won't.

The fact that some '95's (CA, etc. emissions) were dual-cat cars, and dual-cat cars are usually OBDII, might be the source of the confusion.
Re: Are all 95's obd1?
I have heard something stupid like the late 95s were 5 speaker bose systems while the early were 3 speaker. Mine had 5 in it, but I don't know.
Other than that I don't know anything.
