Re: ABS tied to the PCM?

The ABS is controlled by the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM). There is a tie-in the PCM only in the case of cars with ABS and TCS.

Re: ABS tied to the PCM?

When I first start my car, it runs with no abs inop light, after maybe one minute it will pop on for no reason, before I even put it in gear. Is there a trace program you can use to find the sensor/problem??

Re: ABS tied to the PCM?

You can scan the EBCM for codes. The codes will tell you what is turning on the "ABS INOP" light.
