35 minutes on a holiday weekend, and you've decided were all against you....

The response on the "Computer...." and "Drivetrain" forums is often slow, but we've got some good people who can help when they do show up.

PS: It's spelled "clique".... and no, there are none here. Sorry you feel that way. Good luck - you're going to need it.

the 3-4 clutch is most likely on its way out. save up for a rebuild.

Re: 4l60e tune for shift problem?

never fear, 4l60 guy is here!

Is it slipping on the 3-4 shift, or in 3rd and 4th?
4th is the band re-applying. If second is ok under full throttle, and 3rd gear is ok,.......its likely the seals on the overdrive portion of the accumulator/band apply servo, or a loss of hydraulic pressure somewhere from the valve body to the band apply piston for 4th gear. In short, unless you have a manual and understand anything I just said,......yer fu[ked. If youre mechanical skills are up to par, I may be able to help, but you may have to drop the valve body, and thats scarey for most ppl.

Take it back for warranty repair.

Probably the seller already did, and was refused which is why he sold it. But start with the obvious path...
