20 gps MAf at idle?

WHat could cause it to be so high and what kind of effect would this have on a/f mixture because I have been having a lean problem.

Sounds like your MAF is reading high. What RPM do you idle at? What's weird is, that should make it run rich. Does the exhaust burn your eyes at idle? What do the O2s read? Do they switch? What are your idle BLMs (sorry, long term fuel trims)?

I'd try swapping in a known-good MAF and go from there.

Before you decide the gps is too high at idle, wait for the car to warm up and get the idle reading once the car is warm. When our cars first start off cold, the computer up's the idle speed a bit. As the coolant temp rises to operating temp, the idle lowers down gradually until the proper idle speed is reached.
