2 bar map reading odd..

I've tried two different 2 bar maps and they both read odd. On Freescan - MAP bar reads 0.99 for my 1 bar. one 2 bar reads 0.30 and other reads 0.53. Is this acceptable?

The one that reads 0.53 is correct for a two bar reading atmospheric pressure with the engine off, so use that one. The 0.30 reading is more in line with a 3 bar map.

Thanks for the info. I ended up getting the car to run with a 1 bar tune I found online that had similar cam setup. I'm going to attempt to convert this to 2 bar.

After getting the car running, the cold side blew off the first time I hit boost

I notice now, I put the filter before the intercooler so it will still be filtered (needed to drive it home), and it rev's SLOW. Its insanely slow. At WOT, it says TPS 100% and MAP KPA is almost 100, but my car revs slower then a normal car just barely pressed on the gas.

I just swapped the opti also, and i'm still getting a Code 16, LOW RES (this is the reason I bought the new opti from thepartsladi on ebay OEM, haha). Anyone have a clue what could cause this? The alternator sensor did fall out and cause teh car not to start once, could this have thrown the code? I cleared it, but it wouldn't start again because I didn't wait long enough.

Check the wiring harness for the Opti. Look for corrosion, damaged pins, or the retainer clip broken off the connector.

There is no "sensor" on the alternator??????

Under the alternator, near the exhaust manifold theres some sort of connector.. plugs in at the bottom of the alternator. I didn't think there was one either, till it wasn't charging and I noticed that loose...
