I am looking to buy this car and was wondering if it was a true SS Chevelle anyone out there help please?

 

1 = Chevrolet
3 = Chevelle/Malibu
6 = 8 cylinder
37 = 2 door notch back- hardtop coupe
0 = 1970
K = Made in Kansas City, MO
135032 = sequential number

Nothing in the VIN designates it as an SS. There would have to be option or RPO codes to tell you that.

No it is not an SS. All SS Chevelles VIN start with 138 .

 

Thanks for the intel! As for the rpo codes ect where does a person find this what i'm getting is the vin really won't tell so what does?
