Post Not charging?

im not entirely sure. but i think i got my alternator wet from cleaning my intake manifold. but it wouldn't be much. just a splash from the water. i have a new 100 amp alternator. its not even 2 months old. and now when i start my car i get nothing. not charging at all. what could it be or how to fix it?

Check your voltage regulator. It is mounted on the radiator support. They are a frequent problem. (It is almost impossible to buy one that is worth the effort to change.) Sometimes you can just tap on the regulator and make it work but, it would still need to be replaced soon if that is the case.
It is not likely that water in the alternator would cause any problems.
