mufler question

Ok I have a 79 Z28 with stock exhaust and stock Th350 trans. I was woundering when I put my full length headers on, will I be bale to bolt these mufflers striaght up to the headers : http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...00&prmenbr=361 without hitting the transmission? or will I have to get the slip fit ones and install them past the transmisson?cause I plan on running true dual exhaust.

Talking

You should be able to. I had a friend with a late 70's camaro, he bolted glasspacks directly to the headers, and he had no problems. Just make sure and get some sort of turn downs so you don't burn the bottom of the car! It sounds bad a$$!!!

Cool

You better make sure your transmission crossmember is for dual exhaust, or you may have to change it, Unless of ourse you feel the pipes will clear.
