i got a nasty squeek in the back and...

2 PROBLEMS with this 85 TPI 350 with 305heads, new stock crank 10/10, .030bore, flat top pistons, rv cam four valve relief, 50,000volts, 25lb/hr injectorrs, SLP HEADERS, CUSTOM ED WRIGHT chip ..fastchip.com, stock torque vert, 700r auto, AL drive shaft, 3.52 (four) rear. posi

there is a nasty squeek in the back any common places these cars squeek back here, this is my first IROC rebuild....nice car

my weld on subframe connector is rapping on my 3" exhaust, this is the single pipe exhaust, i pick up my 3" pipe coming off my 1 5/8 slp shorty headers, and i come to the bend about 15" from cat.
so i was thinking i would heat up the pipe and hammer it away
from my passanger side weld on subframe brace, i think i loose a quarter inch which will bring me to 2.75 but this is on a bend and deflection is there anyways so loosing that quarter does not matter

any1 got any other ideas how i can keep this exhaust off my subframe weld on connector that i cut in 1/2 is square tube steel to make this fit.........always something with these projects

id say jack the car up and look around underneath for loose/rubbing components.

not sure about the exhaust/subframe problem except to it to an exhaust shop and have them fix it.
