convert to V belt or cowl hood? (V6 to SBC swap problems)

Well now that I finally got the right mounts and got my SBC into my firebird I am running into more problems. I don't have enough hood clearance with my accessory brackets I'm using, I have tbi brackets. On the driver side the alternator is on top and the power steering pump below that, the passenger side has a place for the AC (top) and air pump (bottom) but I have delete idlers on both of those.
Anyway the alternator is hitting the hood and so I'm debating on either switching to a v belt so I can use different brackets to make it all fit or get a cowl hood. What would you guys do in my situation? And if I do use a V belt what would I need to do to make my stock PSP work with the bracket, does it just bolt up or will I need a different pump?
I cant find that many cowl hoods for the 93-97 firebirds, is that cause there arnt many, what is the cheapest place to get one?

TBI brackets are tall, you might be able to fit third gen TPI brackets in there, depending on how much more room you need

how much lower do you need the brackets to sit? I might have both types here to measure

I only need it to be about 2 inches lower than the TBI brackets.

which TBI brackets you using? truck or F-body?

I can't find any F-body TBI brackets in the garage, but the F-body TPI brackts are 4-5" shorter then the truck TBI brackets
