You mean, best-looking Z/28 from 1977 - 81. There were no Z/28's made in either 1975 or 1976.

I'd say they all look pretty good. The rarest of of those years is the '77, which was only made for about half the production year (it's referred to as the 1977-1/2 Z/28). I've had a couple 1980 Z/28's, and they look pretty sharp. They have a more rounded and smoother look to the bumpers than my '77. I do like my '77 though.

Hopefully I'll have pics of yellow and black up in a couple of days... It looks pretty sweet, but only has stock rims ... That'll give someone out there an edge against me! lol

1981 Z28's, hands down (although they look just like 1980's). I prefer the smoother louvers in the front fenders as opposed to the louvers from '78/'79 Z28's with the multiple vertical slots. Now I realize my car didn't have a "true" Z28 grill, but that's 'cause it was busted and I had the Berlinetta grill from a parts car. Oh yeah, I forgot about the hood scoop...........I also like the '80/'81 scoop better than the '78/'79 style (although they actually look similar to the 4th gen SS hood scoops ).

Easily the 1980-81 models were the nicest... afterall, they brought back cowl induction.

Personally, I wish GM had made the 70's bodystyles with the 77 and earlier interiors. I think the interior of my car and earlier looks a lot slicker than the interiors of the 78s-81s. On the other hand I think the body styles of the 78-81s are killer, second only to the 70-73.

I'm torn....

Correction: interior was changed in 79, 78 still had the "wrap around " dash.

My 81 in the sig.
