Anyone that knows anything about the yenko Turbo Z's please read
I was wondering if there is anywhere I can more info on these cars. I have seen brief mentions in Camaro books and like one picture I was wondering if tehre was anything out there about them. thanks

I am talking about the 2nd gen Yenko's. Does anyone know anything about them? HOw many did they make? What years were they made? Anywhere to get any pics or anything.

Try looking around for some old Hotrod or Super Chevy magazines. I remember reading about them in there way back when. Also you may want to try and contact Yenko Chevrolet in Cannonsburg Pa. I remember seeing a Yenko message board somewhere on the net a couple years ago that dealt with all the Yenko cars. Try to find that also. Good luck. 
EDIT: I think they only made them in 79 but I am not positive on this. I know they had a turbo, and it seems to me there were only a couple hundred made.

one of one. It's a GM styling exercise or a concept car. It's either in a museum now or it was destroyed.
You can notice that GM used the wheels and the grill on the next years Z. Pontiac used the turbo (or similar) on the 301. Fortunantly (IMO), neither used the whale tail. Some folks like it and it was boss back then. Rice - 15 years before rice was invented.
