73 camaro wiper switch

I cant seem to locate a wiper switch for my dads 73 camaro. I was wondering where i could locate one, apperantly from what i get YEAR ONE only has up to 72 then skips 73 to 74 plus. Is this correct? any help at all would be amazing thanx.

most of the parts are interchangable from 1970-81. Now not all parts all, but most. I would call someone from year one and ask them... they might be able to tell you better than most of us..... for what its worth though, I bet its the same....

There are differences in the wires/connectors, from year to year. Any chance that you have a picture of the harness end you need to match or something? I might have a '73 on my workbench, but it might be a '72, instead. All I know is, it is different than the one I wanted for my '70. It's not a new switch, but one that I pulled from a salvage yard.

Not sure if you need a new one or a used one will suffice but Ive found a couple of websites on the internet that will do a search of salvage yards for parts. There is an excellent yard in Hastings Nebraska that has cheap prices and everything Ive gotten from them for my 75 Camaro has been well priced (cheap) but yet in good shape. Ive orderd a dash gauge panel, wiper switch and a interior door handle from them and they were able to ship each of them almost within 24 hours. I am deployed and dont have the name of the place but I think the web site that does the search and can get you in touch with them or other places that may have the part is www.car-part.com . I will caveat this by saying that buying on the internet and from a salvage yard can be hit or miss but for me it has worked out. I would suggest calling the places that have the parts and talk to them over the phone and then use your best judgement to figure out if it will work for you or not. Good luck in finding what you need.
