yup, power windows and locks, cruise, power drivers seat. the remote key only opens the drivers door and hatch-- it does not lock them or open passenger. But it always opens the drivers door. It's apparently the remote module flaking out, very common.

it is a great deal and surprised it hasn't sold yet, then again, nothing is selling. then again i haven't tried very hard to sell it. funny thing is it stranded me at work last night with a no start condition... has ran PERFECT for months and perfect yesterday morning, but when i got in to start it acts like it gets no gas or spark. it was WAY too cold to diagnose much in the dark last night, but I am picking it up tomorrow in my trailer so i can work at it at home on Saturday. i am sure it is nothing major, probably a coil or coil wire, somehting like that and i'll have it up and running again.

i drag race weekly during race season in my 80 camaro. one intent of this car was that it could be a backup drag car so i wouldn't miss a points race if I broke during a multi-day weekend event. however, that has never happened so i have only had the car down the track once or twice... actually twice-- my buddy took it and i took it on a very very hot day in the summer. we have a very slow track in Radford due to the elevation and true 660 ft (1/8th mile). It went a 9.40 with about 150lbs in the trunk for traction. another guy with a stock 95z was running 9.60s. i was pretty close to deepstaged, so no doubt in good air and different track this car is somewhere in the 8s in 1/8th but i have other toys so never tried to see what it would really do with some weight removed and/or drag tires.

anyway, i will fix whatever starting problem it is having right now and the new owner will have one less thing to worry about. i drive it to work daily although i have other "nicer" vehicles, this one is more fun

oh it will live again and soon. i'm predicting it's a bad coil but we'll see. i have a few hours tomorrow to try some things. i will let you know when it's running again. i'm just glad it didn't do it when someone came to look at it! murphy's law, ya know.

It's alive again and looking to hunt down 4-bangers, scare old women & children, and make squirrels run for their lives! The ignition control module went bad and thus she stopped sparking. I replaced the coil and that expensive teeny tiny little module (ICM) and she purrs like a kitten again. Grrr... Reduced to $2500 for you camaro guys, no BS price, come and get it nor or i may just decide to keep it.
