1987 Camaro SC - New paint

Hello All -

For the sake of starting to pay college loans, my 1987 Chevy Camaro is up for sale. I'll start with a brief description of the vehicle. When I first purchased it, it was nothing like it is today. My father and I turned it into a beautiful machine. To see more about it's life with us, visit my CarDomain site, then click on the black car. Recent photos can be viewed on page 7.

Interior: This Camaro had a complete interior swap from grey to red. There are a few more things to swap out (headliner, driver seatbelt). There are a few cracks in the dash as is usual on these vehicles. There is a large tear in the driver's seat from normal use. The rest of the interior is very clean, as you can see in the pictures. I'm including with the car new Kenwood speakers all around, but the stock stereo/tape deck (working condition). The Power locks and power windows were added by us after we purchased the car, all parts donated from a 1988 Camaro. There is an air conditioner, but it needs a charge to be functional.

Exterior: The exterior is very beautiful. You will not find any rust on the body. The paint is only a matter of months old, and shines quite nicely. All of the body work was again done by myself and my father. Because of the black paint, it shows the very few dings from every day problems. Countless hours were put into making this car look great. This car features a functional daytona hood, which adds style and underhood air flow. The wheels are original IROC alloy wheels. Tires are Yokohama radial 388 with plenty of tread life left. Added on was a flowmaster muffler with brand new pipes and tips. Sounds great. The T-tops leak in heavy rain, but never during light rain or when being washed. In addition, I have new weatherstripping to give to the new owner. New emblems all around, new center caps for the wheels, and little pieces of flare here and there.

Motor: The motor is the original 305 4bbl. It's not an amazingly fast motor but it sure can get out of its own way. From the time i've owned the vehicle, it has been well maintained. The previous owner bought the car new, but i'm not sure on how well she maintained the car. The few things that I can think of that will need attention are valve stem seals (to prevent smoke on start-up) and it can certainly use a tune-up. The rest of the changes needed are purely cosmetic and not even necessary at that.

DISCLAIMER: Inspections and test drives should be arranged before you decide to buy this car. Because of personal restrictions, I won't be able to help with shipping so local pick-up only please. There is no warranty expressed or implied with this vehicle, it's being sold as-is. So it's important that you know what you're buying before you do so.

For all intensive purposes, i've never driven this car out of state or on long trips, but I have NEVER had a problem with it stalling or dying. It ran hot once because of a failed fan, but I hooked the fan up to a switch to bypass the automatic activation. I haven't had a problem since. Thanks! Any questions can be posted here, PM'ed, or e-mailed to me. agodreborn@yahoo.com
