WTF is this little box I found?

Well, I removed the whole interior in my car, since I am getting new carpet, a new headliner, and a few other things. Anyway, on the passenger side, beneath/behind the sail panel, there is a little black box clipped onto the body. It looks like one of the wires go to the antenna, and maybe a few go to the speakers. It says Delco electronics, so is this an amp or soemthing? It is definately a factory piece. I have the 8 speaker system I think. Thanks

That would be the factory amp. Some folks call it a door stop.

haha.....I thought so....

So if I unplug it, what will happen? And are all those wires just speaker wires? I have a indash TV with a seperate brain, and I just got a 4 channel amp, so all my speakers will be running from the amp, so can I totally get rid of that thing?

If all speakers are powered off an aftermarket amp, feel free to sledge it!

Alright, just want to make sure. I could have sworn the antenna wire came out of there too. So I can remove it and all the wires connected to it though right? thanks
