Question wiring and battery??

okay this morning i go to turn on my car and no go. doesnt even turn over or nothing. so i check my battery and whenever i push against the positive side, it goes. i have an amp hooked up to it so the power wire is going to that connection too. only thing is that i have had it hooked up like this for 2 months. why would this start happening now if i never touch the hood or engine. do they sell a longer screw for this or something?? or is it something else? like a fuse i should check? thanks!

It may have rattled loose under normal driving and every day vibrations. Did you use the stock battery terminal screw or did you use an adapter to connect your amps power cable to the battery?

yeah i had the stock terminal one. i went to my local parts store and saw this one that plugs into the battery and then has an extension on the end to plug in the amp. helped out a lot. thanks for the reply!

You're welcome, that's what I was going to suggest. Glad you got it going correctly again.
