will 150w push a 10inch sub well???

just as the subject states,

I bought a 150s rockford amp, and thinking about hooking it up to a 10 sub, will it push the sub??

NOTE: i'm not trying to blow the windows out of my car just trying to add some noticable bass.

It'll work, but not as well as you're probably going to like it...

What type of enclosure is it in? that'll make a difference as to how loud it is as well as the power. The 150Wrms is fairly low, but should work. I'd try not to turn the amp gains up all the way though, you could damage the sub.

I had a 150s hooked up to a punchz 10 in a 1cuft box ported to 35hz. I wouldn't say it pounded, but it will produce bass pretty well. I don't think it will run that sub very well, get something with a more effecient design JL10W0 will work well(125w rms) or the punchz(150w rms) would prolly be my next choice.
