Mr Alternator, 200 amp CS-144. Simple bolt-on installation as it was the SAME model alternator built with high output stator and rectifier.

 

how much does that alt. cost? and where did you get it from?

It came from Mr. Alternator www.mralternator.com and cost $250.

 

factory works fine so far, lights do not dim or anything but would like to upgrade to a high output one.

 

our stock alt. is a 160amp right? just forgot..thanks.

I think the V8's are 140 and V6 is 105

 

hmm, well, mine's an ex police interceptor, and unless i'm mistaken, they have 200amp alternators...due to all the lights and sirens. But, i also dont need that much power due to placement of the sub and size of my box...it's all about efficiency!
