My 2002 Z28 came with a starter-interrupt type security system installed by a previous owner. The only key fob I have for it is acting up & sometimes will not start. I'm hoping it is the type system that just plugs into & replaces the starter relay. Could someone tell me where that relay is? Underhood or underdash? Thanx!

 

Nevermind. I found the relay in the owners manual. It was the type that replaced the starter relay. It really is a good way to prevent theft. Just keep a regular relay handy in case of a problem like mine.
