hey guys i got an 01 trans am with the upgraded monsoon system in it. i want to keep teh existing speakers and just add some more bass. What do i need to do look for ina head unit and amp that will make this happen. i dont want to spen more than $1000. The cheaper the better. So if u guys could hook me up with some good combinations that would be awesome.

Id probably do the MTX Thunderform or the JL StealthBox if you are looking for a little more bass. Other than that, get a custom Camaro box with a couple of 10's or 12's and a nice size amp. The possibilities are endless.

i would stay with jl for speakers, or mb quart, they have some great soundsing stuff, def stay with jl for the woofers, put a w7 in there and feel the music haa
