subsonic filter.....?

subsonic filter.....?

Whats up....I just got a Rockford Fosgate 1000BD amp it has a subsonic filter...i was wondering what I should set the subsonic filter to? I have a 10" rockford fosgate POWER HX2 sub

what type of box is the sub in?

But as a safe number just go with 25-30Hz.

if the subs are in a sealed box then set the SSF to off or the lowest setting. if they're in a ported box then set it a few cycles bellow your tuning frequency or so the subs don't unload during low bass.

its in a sealed box, subthump passenger stealth...and i think the subsonic only gos as low as 70hz i could be wrong tho...

Either you are looking at the LP filter or 70Hz is as HIGH as it goes. Since you are using a sealed box, either turn it off or set it as low as it will go.

Depends on where you have your 6 1/2"s crossed over at, but a good starting point is 80Hz.
