how can i get my radio unlocked..
somone posted the # a while ago and i lost it!

Happened to me to when I had some warranty work done. I caught it before I left though and the tech fixed it. If nobody knows here, just call the service dept at your local dealer, they'll tell you.

 

If it's like mine, it has a user programmed code that unlocks it after power loss. If you didn't program it, or a previous owner did, and didn't tell you the code, you're going to have to prove to the dealer it's your car and have them unlock it. If the dealer programmed it when it was new, you may get lucky.

 

Moving to the Car Audio section...

 

Theftloc Bypass

1. Press and hold presets 2 & 3 for about 10 seconds until the first 3 digits of the display code are displayed
2. Write the numbers down.
3. Press the AM FM button, write down the next 3 numbers
4. Call 1-800-537-5140, when asked, enter 202107, press the “button” and enter the 6 digit code from the radio, you will get an unlock code, write it down.
5. Go back to the car, press the HR button and set the first 2 numbers, then press minute button and set the next two last numbers, press AM FM button, SEC should be displayed, turn on radio
To remove customers code, repeat step 5. you should see --- on radio face, the code is now out of the radio.

 

Hey LS1 RULZ, is htat code for the monsoon radio??

I have a bose (I think), in my 94. It says Delco Loc II

I dont have an HR or min button. And I tired the step and it does not display anything. My radio face is blank, all it displays is the time when I hit RCL.

I can still inser and eject a CD, but it will not do anythign.

I shined a Flash light into it, and its not even possible to display "LOC" in the display.

Is there a way to retrieve my code??

As far as I know it works with the POS Monsoon. I'm not all that familiar with the BOSE. You may have to go to the dealership to unlock it.
