satellite radio
I have installed SIRIUS satellite radio to my kenwood 915dvd, and I was wondering if anyone has found a good place to attach the antenna, besides the rear quarter panel? Ultimate electronics said to put it in the spare tire well, but the signal is terrible.
Any idas would be great.

ultimate elec. are dumbasses..... what ant. do you have? the two
best are the terk tr2 and the little magnetic kenwood. i would
generally put them on the dash or somewhere in the hatch area
where it has plain view to the sky.must be facing right side up! does not have to be mounted to metal. the terk- just stick to plastic...the kenwood- go buy some good 3m double stick tape and that should hold. but make sure you clean surface with small alchohol wipe. be sure not to wipe to hard or to long b/c the plastic will start to fade! another thing...you cannot put the ant. in the trunk area if you have the non fading metalic window tint. that will cause reception failure.
