power two 12" MTX T8124A?

power two 12" MTX T8124A?

I need advice on powering two 12" mtx subs 400w RMS......i paid alot for these subs and want to get the most out of them. PLEASE?

What do you want out of your setup?

SQ? Then go with a sealed enclosure.

SPL? Then go with a ported enclosure.

Even louder SPL? Then go with a bandpass enclosure.

Get as much amplifier power as you can afford. Just don't go the cheap route by getting junk equipment like Pyramid, Kenford, Profile, etc. An MTX class D sub amp would be ideal.

an MTX 6500D would work, thats what i've got coming in the mail for my mtx 6000's 12" i'd definitely save the extra 200 and go with the MTX 81000D much better fit to the 8000 subs
