online shops?

anyone have recommendations/places that you have bought from online that you had a good experience from? tried searching to find such info but couldn't come up with much.

the price savings alone outweigh the warranty issues, just curious if anyone else has bought things from stores online??

Re: online shops?

www.ikesound.com - good pricing and service, but typically 2 weeks to get product
www.knukonceptz.com - great pricing for install parts (Ex: wiring)
www.ebay.com - great resource but watch the feedback...

IkeSound has always been good to me. No issues here.

Re: online shops?

A few years ago when I first started buying car stereo gear online CarMedia1 was one of the companies I was told not to buy from. They had some of the lowest prices but people were having all kinds of problems dealing with them. Maybe thats changed in the last few years I don't know. Just my $.02

Re: online shops?

the problem is everyone has heard something bad about all of them. the only reason i posted carmedia was that they offer c.o.d which is nice since you get to see it when it comes and decide if it's right.

anything can happen with any situation i understand that, just trying to rule out the worst places if possible. i appreciate the .02 though as it seems like everything is such a gamble. if it were a small purchase it probably wouldn't be a big deal but with such a large purchase that could cause some serious issues. i'll have to figure something out that or pay double at retail stores which seems outrageous, thanks.
