Hello,

I have 96 camaro with bose system. I installed a kenwood aftermarket radio. Used the basic gm wire harness and hooked it up color to color. Only the passenger rear speaker works and I have no idea how to fix this.

There is a blue antenna control wire coming from the headunit that I had nothing to plug into on the gm wire harness. In searching the forms here someone said to plug this antenna control wire to the blue power wire on the gm harness, I tried that and it did not fix the issue. Still only had sound to passenger rear speaker.

I used to have same car around 10 years ago and had exact same issue when installing aftermarket headunit but I can't remember what wires to switch/hook up to make it work. I know i didnt have to buy the fancy bose adapter thing.

Are you still using the factory Bose speakers and wiring, with their built-in amps?

 

Yes, only thing i changed is HU
