sorry for the delay first time I've been on in few days. I was thinking of going with the Kicker CompVR sub which is dual voice coil. I was told that hooking 2 channel amp to dual voice coil sounds close to bridging the amp, Is this true? Also should I go with 2 ohm or 4 ohm sub? Can both be bridged?

 

The sound from a DVC Vs SVC will be the same.

Which ohm you should get depends on what amplifier you are going to be using. Everything works with everything else.
