i want to hook up the extra electrical outlet can i just use the power wires from that little light in the old console? or no? if not how do i exactly hook it up then? i read the install on soem webpage but i didn't quite understandhow i am suspose to splice the one hook up into 2. i am doing this right now so a quick response would be helpful

 

which port do you currently have hooked up? When I did my swap, my connector didn't fit either lighter. A friend cut my wires up and put on connectors so it attached to the auxillary connecter (underneath the cup holder). I'm interested in hooking up the main lighter.
