Hi All,
A friend of mine has a 94 Firebird and none of the radio controls on the steering wheel work, the radio works fine. He wants to replace the whole air bag and control unit but before he does this I thought I would ask the experts. Any advice on what to check first, fuse, relay??? Being an old Ford guy, I am not much help.

Those birds are so common for that

Theres a thread on here on how to fix that. What it is is tbat the rubber nipples behind the buttons have either rotted away or are gunked up. Try cleaning them. Or taking and old remote and ripping the rubber button nipples out and transplanting them
