Clock stays lit up

Clock stays lit up
I just bought a 1994 Z28 with the standard AM/FM/Cass radio. The fuse to the dome lights, clock etc. had been pulled. When I installed a new fuse I noticed the clock stays lit all the time. Is this normal or do I have a problem with this?
