Got a new surround sound-needs more bass

So I got a new surround sound yesterday from Bestbuy. The model number is SC-PT760.

http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-e...00000000005702

It puts out a nice thump but it's not good enough for me. So my question is how would I hook up say two Alpine Type E's and Phoenix Gold Amp up to it.

Isn't there a thingy called a line out converter that you hook speaker wire up to and it turns into an RCA?? Only problem is all of the ends that plug into the main unit are adapters and not bare speaker wire. I'm not rippin apart my sub box either.

What about power for the amp?????

I know it can be done I just don't know how...so somebody tell me how.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

Last I checked this is the car audio and electronics section. Correct me if i'm wrong but i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say a home theater system is an electronic device.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing to my home system. I don't see how it wouldn't work, just get a power inverter to convert 110v to 12v.

One thing that I've not understood yet is where would you hook up the signal wire from the amp to?
