I recently purchased a memphis audio "power reference" (yes the cheap one) 10" DVC sub...based on last years studio model to replace my aging JL Audio 10W6 (which was glued back together ) anyway, i really couldn't tell a difference that commanded 50 more dollars for the Studio 10"...so i got the power reference, have a little fosgate 4.6x pushing it with each side bridged into a voice coil

i must say, this is a really good sounding sub, i was VERY impressed with its quality and sound, very nice looking surround on it as well.

past systems i have owned have included:

2 12" Pioneers and a cheap amp
1 12" RF DVC powered by the RF 4.6x
same DVC powered by a Punch 200 DSM
2 JL Audio 10W6s powered by Punch 200 DSM
3 JL Audio 10W6s powered by Orion HCCA 250R
1 JL Audio 10W6 powered by the RF 4.6x
and now my single 10" Memphis

great sound quality, not overly loud or boomy, just good bass, not as loud as a trio of W6s and 800 watts...but oh well

highly recommended sub!

Hey hows it goin? I picked up a Memphis 16-PR1KD amp a few weeks ago to power those 3 10W6s. The sad thing is I still don't have a car to put them in. Have fun with your new sub man.
