Is this going to be a big problem? (Alternator output vs system usage)

I'm about to get a 99 Frontier 4x4 V6 and the alternator only cranks out about 80-85 amps. Well, I have 2 MTX amplifiers (Thunder 304 and 8302) that have a total of 135 amps worth of fuses. So what's the consequences of this? Will it even hurt anything? If so, what should I get, another battery, a bigger alternator, or a cap? Thanks,

Josh

I'd say Alternator, that's what's going to make the most difference. That small of a Alternator you could/most likely will have a decent light dimming problem with the subs. The 2nd thing to upgrade would be the main battery, but try the Alternator first.

To check your system check the amout of voltage drop while your system is hitting it's hardest. if it drops under 11V I would upgrade your alternator. If it doesn't drop that much you might be able to slide by with a 1F cap, but you don't have enough power to need a second battery.

If your lights dim a little get a cap, if they dim a lot get an alternator.
