Front speaker wiring

This has probably been answered before but I can't find it. I have the stock tape deck/cd changer with the 6 speaker set up. The front door speakers have 4 wires going to them and I am replacing the speakers with Kenwood KFC-C1739ie 3 -way speakers that only have 2 terminals. I know the 2 wires are for the tweeter and the other for midrange but how do I connect them to the new speakers? Do I just hook up the mids and leave the tweeters off?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Front speaker wiring

Well, first thing's first, Many stock camaros have amps in them which only like to play with their own components (ohm problem i believe?) and if you change anything (HU, speakers) they won't get along.

The fall back would be to run your own wire from the headunit to the speakers (what I plan to do, i have an aftermarket HU though) therefore the signal wouldn't be split by the amp. Still would have the ohm problem though I believe. Not sure, someone here does though.
