Speaker Pop

I have a 95 Z28 with the Bose Delco stereo system and every time I go to turn it on I get this loud pop before it starts playing the radio .This also happens when I turn it off. Can someone tell me what this is?

Re: Speaker Pop

I'm not familiar with the stock system but i do know that with aftermarket systems, the pop usually points to a bad ground wire or the timing between when the deck and amp turn on.

Re: Speaker Pop

I get a loud pop from my system every now and then when I turn the key. I do have an amp and sub but the rest is factory..? Sounds like it eventually going to destroy my speakers!
