Crossover door placement?

Hi, putting together a system for my 98 Z28. Have all the components, including 6.5 component speakers for the front. My question is, where do I put the crossover? The wire from the tweeter makes it apparent it should be mounted close by but I'm not sure where in the door to put it? Any cutting involved here?

You can put it inside the door, front part of it. Make sure it will not interfere with window going up/down. I have it in one of my cars and it's perfectly fine. However, to avoid unnecessary vibrations it's better to mount crossovers somewhere else. If you had a monsoon system before, in each door you already have 4 separate wires for speakers - one can be used for mid, one for tweeter. They are running to the Monsoon amp in the back. Two of them (monsoon tweeter) goes to Monsoon amp input, the other two (midrange driver) goes to Monsoon output. I just removed Monsoon amp, and spliced my crossovers into it's harness using correct wires on my other car.
